Refund & Return Policy – Zahra Diamonds

At Zahra Diamonds, we take pride in offering verified natural and CVD diamonds with complete transparency. Due to the high-value and sensitive nature of diamonds, all purchases must follow strict return and refund guidelines to ensure fairness, security, and authenticity for both parties.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.


1. No Returns or Exchanges Once Delivered

Due to certification, valuation, and tamper-proof handling requirements:

  • Diamonds cannot be returned or exchanged once they have been delivered or collected by the customer.
  • This applies to all products, including natural diamonds, CVD diamonds, parcels, and investment-grade orders.

We enforce this policy to protect the integrity of the product and ensure zero risk of tampering, switching, or contamination.


2. Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds are issued only under the following rare circumstances:

A. Incorrect Product Delivered

If the diamond delivered does not match:

  • The invoice description
  • The specifications confirmed during the order
  • The certificate (if applicable)

B. Verified Grading or Manufacturing Discrepancy

If an independent, recognized gemological lab confirms:

  • A grading mismatch
  • A manufacturing defect
  • An incorrect certificate pairing

Such claims must be supported by official documentation.

C. Order Cancellation Before Dispatch

If the order is cancelled before dispatch and before logistic booking is initiated, a refund may be issued.

Refund approval depends on:

  • Order type
  • Whether the diamond was held, reserved, or blocked for you
  • Any processing fees already incurred

3. Conditions for Refund Requests

To request a refund:

  1. Notify us within 24 hours of receiving the product (for issues A or B above).
  2. Provide:
    • Order ID
    • Photos/videos of the diamond, packaging, and certificate
    • A clear explanation of the issue
  3. For grading disputes, submit documents from an authorized third-party gemological lab.

We reserve the right to approve or reject refund claims after full verification.


4. Refund Processing Time

Once approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 7–14 business days.
  • Refunds are issued via the original mode of payment or a mutually agreed method.
  • Any banking or transaction charges may be deducted where applicable.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Buyer changes mind after receiving the product
  • Incorrect selection of size, clarity, colour, or specification by the buyer
  • Refusal to accept delivery without a valid reason
  • Claims submitted after 24 hours of delivery
  • Damage occurring after delivery
  • Mismatches caused by lighting, device screens, or assumptions not included in the official specs

6. Product Verification on Delivery

We recommend that buyers:

  • Inspect packaging at the time of delivery
  • Verify the seal and certificate
  • Confirm specifications immediately

If tampering is suspected, do not accept the package and contact us immediately.


7. Special Cases: Bulk & Investment Orders

For bulk orders, parcels, or investment-grade diamonds:

  • Refund terms may differ based on prior agreement
  • Blocking or reserving stock may involve non-refundable deposits

Such terms will be shared clearly before order confirmation.
